Vermact Tablet is used for Parasitic infection of skin, Parasitic infection of hair, Parasitic filarial worm infection, Inflammatory affections, Inflammatory diseases, Threadworm infections, Pinworms infections, Parasitic nematode worms intestine infections, Whipworm infection, Enlarged limb and other conditions. Vermact Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Vermact Tablet contains Ivermectin as an active ingredient.
Vermact Tablet works by killing the parasite by paralyzing it.

Ivermectin belongs to the class of drugs called anthelmintics. This drug acts by binding to certain receptors on the nerve and muscle cells of the parasite. Then, the drug paralyses and kills the parasite gradually. It also acts by suppressing the growth of adult parasite and reduces its transmission.
Vermact 6 MG Tablet is an antiparasitic agent which is used in the treatment of worm infections in the intestine and skin.Take this medicine as a single dose on an empty stomach. Do not use in children with weight less than 15 kg.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vermact 6mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Vermact Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
Ivermectin lotion should not be used for children under 6 months of age.
Ivermectin should be taken empty stomach with water.
Ivermectin tablets should not be given to children under 5 years of age and weight under 15 kg.
Do not take/apply ivermectin and consult your doctor if you are sensitive to ivermectin or any other ingredient to tablet/cream/lotion; or if you have concurrent loa loa infection; suffering from brain problems, bleeding disorder, or asthma.
Avoid using ivermectin if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
Vermact Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by package insert. Keep medicines away from children and pets.
Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into drainage unless instructed to do so. Medication discarded in this manner may contaminate the environment. Please consult your pharmacist or doctor for more details on how to safely discard Vermact Tablet.
