Vorier 200mg Tablet is used to treat a variety of fungal infections of the lungs, mouth, and throat. Take this medicine at least 1 hour before or after food. Do not take this medicine if you have a known allergy to it.
Voriconazole belongs to the class of drugs called as the anti-fungal drugs. This drug acts by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, which results in the depletion of the fungal cell membrane. Thus, it helps in decreasing the fungal infections.
Vorier 200mg Tablet is used for Fungal infections, Low white blood cell count, Yeast infections and other conditions. Vorier Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Vorier 200mg Tablet contains Voriconazole as an active ingredient.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take Voriconazole as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the drug with or without food. However, taking the drug with food prevents stomach upset.
Voriconazole Injection should be administered only under medical supervision.
If you miss a dose of Voriconazole tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Liver injury - Vorier 200mg Tablet may increase the liver enzyme levels and can cause hepatitis and jaundice. Close monitoring of liver function (through tests) is necessary at the time of initiation of the treatment. Discontinue the medicine if symptoms worsen.
Visual Disturbances - Vorier 200mg Tablet may cause visual disturbances like optic neuritis and papilledema. Close monitoring of visual function is necessary if treatment continues beyond 28 days.
Arrhythmia and QT Prolongation - Vorier 200mg Tablet may cause Arrhythmia and QT Prolongation especially in the patients with existing heart disease. Close monitoring of heart function is necessary. Do not use medicines that can increase the risk of arrhythmia.
Impaired kidney function - Use of intravenous Vorier 200mg Tablet is not recommended in the patients with moderate to severe kidney injury (creatinine clearance level < 50 mL/min) due to the risk of accumulation. Oral dosage forms may be considered after assessing benefits and risks.
Pregnancy - This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women unless clearly needed. Consult your doctor regarding potential benefits and risks before taking this medicine.
Breast-feeding - Sufficient information is not available on whether this medicine is excreted through breast milk. Stop breastfeeding if it's necessary to take this medicine. Consult your doctor regarding potential benefits and risks before taking this medicine.
Avoid using the medicine if you are allergic to Voriconazole or similar drugs.
Avoid Voriconazole during pregnancy or breastfeeding because the safe use of the drug is not yet established.
Do not stop using the medication abruptly unless instructed by the doctor. Stopping the medication suddenly may cause the illness to return.
Do not exceed the dose more than what is prescribed.
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if Voriconazole causes dizziness or blurred vision.
