Supatret C Gel How To Work

Which is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin Topical and Tretinoin Topical which treat pimples (acne). Clindamycin Topical is an antibiotic that works by penetrating the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Tretinoin Topical is a form of vitamin A. It works by reducing oil production in the skin, replenishes acne-prone skin, and helps keep your pores open.

Which is used for Acne, Dry, Rough patches and tiny bumps on the skin, Bacterial infections of the skin, Wrinkles, Acne vulgaris, Skin and skin structure infections, and other conditions. Supatret C Gel may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Supatret C Gel How To Take

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Mechanism Action Of Supatret C Gel

Increasing the turnover of follicular epithelial cells.

Reducing the pustule and papule counts in acne.

Instructions

Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor.

Warning

Supatret C Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risks. Please consult your doctor.

Which is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. The baby’s skin should not come into direct contact with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible cream/gel is preferred as ointments may expose the baby to the harmful effects of Supatret C Gel via licking.

Supatret C Gel Precaution

Patients with eczematous skin

Do not take it by mouth. Consult with your doctor before using this medicine on open wounds, or dry, chapped, irritated, or sunburned skin.

Wash your hands before and after applying Supatret Gel. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated.

Do not wash the treated area after immediately applying Supatret C Gel. Also avoid the use of other products on the treated area unless directed by your doctor.

Applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or a lesser quantity of medicine to avoid pilling.
