Poxet 60 mg tablet are used for the treatment of of premature ejaculation in men 18 to 64 years old who have all of the following symptoms namely ejaculation in less than 2 minutes following penetration on most occasions, with little stimulation and before the man wishes to and marked personal distress and interpersonal difficulty as a result of premature ejaculation as well as poor control over ejaculation.

Premature Ejaculation is defined as ejaculation which occurs with minimal sexual stimulation before or just after penetration takes place and before the patient wishes to ejaculate. As a result of Premature Ejaculation there is marked personal distress or interpersonal difficulty.

Poxet-60 dapoxetine the active ingredient present in Poxet pills is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that is used for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men.

Tablets are manufactured by Sunrise Remedies Pvt. Ltd. in the strengths of 30 mg, 60 mg and 90 mg.

How To Poxet 60mg Work?

Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the level of serotonin in nerve thereby increasing the time it takes to ejaculate and can improve the control over ejaculation.

What is Poxet 60mg Tablet?

Poxet-60 tablets are used to treat premature ejaculation (PE), which is one of the most common causes of sexual dysfunction in men.  It is defined as early ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before of soon after penetration and can cause distress and problems with relationships.  Poxet 60 mg is used to improve control over ejaculation and increase the time interval before ejaculation occurs during intercourse, for men with persistent or recurrent PE.

How To Take Poxet 60mg Tablet?

Take it orally 1 to 3 hours prior to a sexual activity. 

Take tablets by Sunrise Remedies exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not change your dose without talking to your healthcare provider.

The usual dose of Poxet is 30 mg. Your doctor may increase the dose to 60 mg (either 1 tablet of 60 mg or 2 tablets of 30 mg). Take tablet by Sunrise 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity. Swallow the tablets whole to avoid a bitter taste, with at least one full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.

Do not take more than once every 24 hours.

Mechanism Action Of Poxet 60mg?

Poxet contains dapoxetine as the primary ingredient which is an antidepressant; specifically it is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). It inhibits serotonin reuptake, thereby increasing its availability in the blood. Tablet increased levels of Serotonin increase pre and post-synaptic cleft action in brain thereby controlling the ejaculatory action.

Warning

if you are allergic to dapoxetine or lactose (a type of sugar), if you have heart problems, such as heart failure or problems with the heart rhythm, or if you are taking:

• medicines for depression called “monoamine oxidase inhibitors” (MAOIs)
• thioridazine used for schizophrenia
• other medicines for depression
• lithium a medicine for bipolar disorder
• linezolid an antibiotic used to treat infections
• tryptophan a medicine to help you sleep
• tramadol used to treat serious pain
• medicines used to treat migraines
• certain medicines for fungal infection, including ketoconazole and itraconazole
• certain medicines for HIV, including ritonavir, saquinavir, nelfinavir and atazanavir
• certain antibiotics for treating infection, including telithromycin

Precaution

Check with your doctor before taking tablet by Sunrise if:

• you drink alcohol
• you have not been diagnosed with premature ejaculation
• you use recreational drugs such as ecstasy, LSD, narcotics or benzodiazepines
• you have ever had a mental health problem such as depression, mania (symptoms include feeling overexcited, irritable or not being able to think clearly), bipolar disorder (symptoms include serious mood swings between mania and depression) or schizophrenia (a psychiatric disease)
• you have a history of bleeding or blood clotting problems
• you have kidney problems
• you have epilepsy
• you have a history of dizziness from low blood pressure
• you have moderate or severe liver problems

If any of the above apply to you (or you are not sure), talk to your doctor. Your doctor should perform a test to make sure that your blood pressure doesn’t drop too much when you stand up from lying down.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Tablet by Sunrise and other medicines may affect each other causing side effects.

Poxet 60mg Dosage

The recommended starting dosage poxet for adult men between 18 to 64 years of age is 30 mg, taken as needed approximately 1 to 3 hours prior to sexual activity. In case the medical effect of tablet is insufficient and the side effects are acceptable, the dose may be increased to the maximum recommended dose of poxet 90 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is one dose every 24 hours.

Tablets must be swallowed whole. It is recommended that tablets be taken with at least one full glass of water. Poxet tablets may be taken with or without food.
