It is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Divaine 50mg How To Take

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

Take this medicine with a full glass (8 ounces) of water.

Most brands of Divaine 50mg may be taken with or without food.

Take Minocin (pellet-filled capsules) on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.

Do not crush, chew, or break an extended-release tablet. Swallow it whole. Breaking the pill may cause too much of the drug to be released at one time.

Pregnancy – This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women.

Breast-feeding – This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

Photosensitivity – It may increase the risk of sunburn reaction. It is advised that you do not get exposed to sunlight while receiving this medicine. Patients should be counseled about these reactions and should discontinue the treatment if any symptoms of skin rash appear.

Impaired liver function – It should be used with caution in patients with a history of liver diseases or active liver diseases due to the increased risk of liver injury. Close monitoring of liver function is necessary while receiving this medicine. The treatment should be discontinued if the liver function values are not normal.

Divaine Precaution

Avoid using the medicine if you are allergic to Divaine Tablet or similar drugs.

Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if Divaine 50mg Tablet causes severe drowsiness or changes in vision.

Do not exceed the dose more than what is prescribed.
