Olmecip 20mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and other heart complications. Along with taking this medicine, you should follow a proper diet and exercise regularly. Do not take if you have a known allergy to this medicine.
Olmecip 20mg Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
Olmecip 20mg Tablet is used for High blood pressure, Blood pressure, Fluid retention, Heart failure, Liver failure, Kidney failure, Kidney disorder, Heart attack, Diabetes with kidney failure and other conditions. Olmecip H Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmecip 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Interaction with Medicine
Pregnancy - Olmecip 20mg is not recommended for pregnant women.
Breast-feeding - Olmecip 20mg is not recommended for breastfeeding women.
Hypotension - Symptomatic hypotension may occur patients suffering from volume depletion or those who treated with high dose diuretics. Correct the condition before starting this medicine or start the treatment at reduced doses.
Hyperkalemia - Olmecip 20mg Tablet may cause hyperkalemia, a condition with an increase in the potassium levels in the blood. Use with caution in patients with concomitant use of potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements and in patients with impaired kidney function.
Impaired liver function - Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver injury. An initial dose of 10 mg once daily is recommended and should not exceed 20 mg/day.
Pediatric population - The safety and efficacy of Olmecip 20mg Tablet has not been established in children age below 18 years.
