Corbis 5mg Tablet is an antihypertensive which is used alone or in combination with other agents to lower the elevated blood pressure. It is administered with caution in the patients with lung diseases.
Corbis 5mg Tablet is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
Corbis 5mg Tablet is used for High blood pressure, Heart failure, Heart attack and other conditions. Corbis 5mg may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Corbis 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Bisoprolol selectively blocks catecholamine stimulation of β1-adrenergic receptors in the heart and vascular smooth muscle. This results in a reduction of heart rate, cardiac output, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and possibly reflex orthostatic hypotension. At higher doses (e.g. 20 mg and greater) bisoprolol may competitively block β2-adrenergic receptors in bronchial and vascular smooth muscle causing bronchospasm and vasodilation.

Cardiac Failure - Corbis 5mg Tablet can cause heart failure and reduced flow of blood to the especially in people having a heart disease. Suitable dose adjustment and safety monitoring might be required based on the severity of the disease.
Major surgery - Corbis 5mg Tablet is given with caution in the patients who are scheduled for a major surgery. An anesthetic agent with little negative inotropic activity should be selected to minimize the effect on the heart.
