Fluvoxin 100Mg Tablet, should not be taken if you have allergies, medication that you must be taking already, if you have a family history of bipolar/manic depressive family history, liver disorders, low sodium in the blood, glaucoma or peptic ulcers.
Fluvoxin 100Mg Tablet, is an oral medicine to be taken as directed by the doctor. One should not increase, decrease or stop taking this medicine without doctor’s intervention. The medication is generally prescribed for twice a day or once at bedtime, depending on the medical condition.

Fluvoxin 100mg Tablet XR is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Fluvoxin 100mg Tablet XR does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Fluvoxin 100mg Tablet XR is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Fluvoxin 100mg Tablet XR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

It can take 2-3 weeks for Fluvoxin to start working.
Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause a stomach upset, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance.
If your doctor asks you to stop Fluvoxin, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Fluvoxin, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness.
The addiction/dependence potential of Fluvoxin is very less.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
