Darilong 15mg Tablet ER is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.
Darilong 15Mg Tablet is administered to patients suffering from severe urinary incontinence and a few other types of bladder and urinary tract problems. The drug has an action on the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors that are responsible for the contractions in the bladder muscles. It helps to relax the bladder muscles. The action, therefore, reduces the urge to urinate. This therefore helps to control the overactive bladder. The drug belongs to the antispasmodic class of drugs that helps to prevent leakage of urine.
You should discuss your medical history with your doctor if you have suffered from glaucoma, heart, liver or kidney diseases, have any blockages in your intestines or history of any infection, or if you are allergic to any drug. You must also take prior advice regarding the dosage of this medicine especially if you are pregnant planning to conceive any time soon or breastfeeding a baby. Your doctor must also be made aware if you are on any dietary supplements or any other kind of prescription drugs.
Side effects include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, muscular cramps, drowsiness, extreme exhaustion, blurry vision. It may also cause decrease in sweating and a dry mouth. It may increase chances of heat strokes.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Darilong 15mg Tablet ER may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Darilong Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Before using Darilong Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Avoid using it, if you are taking medicines to prevent organ rejection or medicines used to treat high blood pressure, fungal or viral infection

Avoid caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms.

Darilong 15mg Tablet ER is used in the treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. OAB is a collection of urinary symptoms, including frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control urination.
Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by package insert. Keep medicines away from children and pets.
