Cyclomune 0.1 % Eye Drops is an immuno-suppressant which is used in organ transplant patients, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriasis. It should be used under the supervision of a qualified physician. Close monitoring of kidney function is necessary while receiving this medicine.
Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drop works by decreasing inflammation in the eyes, which increases tear production.
Cyclomune 0.1% W/V Eye Drop is an immunosuppressant. This medication is used in the prevention of transplanted organ rejection from the body. This medication is used in combination with adrenal corticosteroids. Cyclomune 0.1% W/V Eye Drop can also be used in patients with already a history of chronic rejection.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as diarrhoea, drowsiness, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, skin rash, hives, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, swelling of facial parts, rapid or irregular heartbeat, pain during urination, seizures, ringing in the ears, mental/mood disorders, kidney/liver disorders and changes with vision. If the reactions persist or become worse over time contact your health care professional right away.
Don’t use this medication if; you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Cyclomune 0.1% W/V Eye Drop, you are receiving radiation or ultraviolet therapy. Before using this medication tell your doctor if; you are allergic to any food/medicine/substance, you are taking any medications, you have seizures/cancer/ high blood pressure/weak immune system, you have kidney/nerve/brain disorders, you are pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.
The dosage for this medication should be prescribed by the doctor based on your condition. The usual dose in adults is 2-4 mg given via IV infusion once daily.
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Take Cyclomune 0.1 % Eye Drops under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. Do not take in larger amounts than advised. It is advised to take this medicine at the same time every day. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable effects. Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor.

Certain medical conditions may interact with Cyclosporine eye drops (Cyclomune Ophthalmic Solution) . Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
You should not put Generic Restasis in your eyes while wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after using this medicine before putting in your contact lenses. It is recommended not to wear contact lenses if you have dry eyes. Talk with your doctor.
Certain medication can interact with Cyclosporine eye drops. Please inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following: Topical anti-inflammatory medicines (eg, ketorolac) because they may decrease Cyclosporine drops's effectiveness.
Inorder to avoid the potential for eye injury and contamination, be careful not to touch the vial tip to your eye or other surfaces.
Your doctor has prescribed Cyclomune to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling) in dry eye disease.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop so that the medicine does not drain away from the eye.
When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection.
You may experience a stinging sensation for 1-2 mins after instilling Cyclomune. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
The normal adult dose of Cyclosporine Eye Drops (Generic Restasis) for the treatment of Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca: 1 drop 2 times a day in each eye approximately 12 hours apart.
Cyclosporine eye drops are to be used only in the eye(s). Do not swallow or apply Cyclosporine eye drops to the skin.
Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drop is used in the treatment of dry eyes. It is usually used despite treatment with artificial tears.
Store Cyclomune Eye Drops (Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Solution) at controlled room temperature (15°C to 25°C). Protect from light.
