Sildenafil Superdrug

Sildenafil Superdrug

What is sildenafil?

Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra and it is therefore often referred to as generic Viagra. It works in the same way as Viagra and it can cause the same side effects. It first became available in 2013, after the Viagra manufacturer Pfizer’s patent for the drug expired, allowing other pharmaceutical companies to produce their own versions of the medication. It is also known as sildenafil citrate.

Is generic Viagra effective?

Generic Viagra (sildenafil) is just as effective as the branded medication. You need to take the same dosage as you would take when using Viagra. Most men find that a 50mg or 100mg dosage works for them. Men who require a lower dosage can take 25mg tablets. The only difference between the generic product and Viagra is that it is not branded in the same way, so the packaging and the tablets may look slightly different. Please note, product packaging may differ from the image above.Generic Viagra is also available at a cheaper price.

How Viagra Works

Since the debut of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra (sildenafil) in 1998, millions of men have discovered how this medication can help treat the symptoms of erectile dysfunction. But while countless men around the world (and their partners) have experienced the clear benefits of Viagra in their sex lives, there’s not as much awareness of how the “little blue pill” actually works. What does Viagra really do in the human body? How fast does it work, and how long does it last? We decided to dig deeper and find out. If you’ve ever been curious about what Viagra can do, read on – you might be surprised at what you discover.

Viagra vs. Sildenafil

Viagra is the most well-known and popular treatment. You can also try generic Viagra, also known as sildenafil. It contains the same medicine but is cheaper to buy. If price is important to you, sildenafil may be the best choice for you. All other medications are branded and therefore slightly more expensive. However, whichever treatment you prefer, a doctor will need to check whether it is suitable for you.

Which Viagra dosage should I take?

Viagra is available in a variety of dosages, including 25mg, 50mg and 100mg. Usually, men begin the treatment with a 50mg tablet. Erectile problems in young men are usually due to psychological factors, rather than a physical cause. Therefore younger men may wish to try the 25mg dosage first, as it is likely to be sufficient to boost their confidence and help them enjoy sex. More senior men may also need to use a lower dosage, as they may not tolerate the side effects of a higher dose. If the Viagra 50mg dosage does not have the required effect, you may need the 100mg dosage. However, it is worth trying the same dosage another 2-3 times before increasing it, in case other factors such as anxiety are at play.

Many people think that Viagra is the only erectile dysfunction treatment available. It’s not surprising because it’s the one you’re most likely to see in the news, in films, or on TV. The truth is that Viagra is one of a number of similar medication called PDE-5 inhibitors. These are the most common erectile dysfunction treatments and the first choice for doctors to prescribe.

The other PDE-5 inhibitors available in the UK are:

  • Viagra Connect
  • Sildenafil
  • Cialis
  • Levitra
  • Spedra

side effects of sildenafil include:

  • headache
  • dizziness
  • visual disturbance and colour distortion
  • facial flushing
  • nausea
  • nasal congestion
  • indigestion
