Side Effects Of Pioglitazone

Description

Pioglitazone 15 MG Tablet is an effective medicine to control blood sugar levels in type II Diabetes Mellitus patients. It is to be used along with controlled diet and regular exercise. This medicine may be used in combination with other medicines for effective control.

Actos (pioglitazone hydrochloride) is a thiazolidinedione and increases the body's sensitivity to insulin. Actos is used for type 2 diabetes, not type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Generic Actos is not available in the U.S., but is available in other countries as pioglitazone.

How should I use this medication?

The usual starting dose for adults is 15 mg or 30 mg taken once daily. Diet and exercise programs should be continued while taking pioglitazone.
