PPG 0.2mg Tablet is used to lower blood glucose level in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, especially when other medicines are not able to provide the desired results. It belongs to a group of medicines known as alpha-glucosidases inhibitors.

How To PPG 0.2mg Work?

PPG Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

What is PPG 0.2mg Tablet?

PPG 0.2mg Tablet is used for Type ii diabetes mellitus, Type 2 diabetes and other conditions. PPG 0.2mg Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

How To Take PPG 0.2mg Tablet?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. PPG Tablet is to be taken with food.

Drug interaction of PPG 0.2mg

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of PPG Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Side Effects of PPG 0.2mg

Precaution of PPG tablet

PPG 0.2mg is used together with other diabetes medicines to control blood sugar and avoids long-term complications.

You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with PPG.

PPG 0.2mg lowers your post-meal blood sugar levels, and therefore should be taken just before meals.

Side effects such as stomach pain, gas, and diarrhoea may occur during the first few weeks of treatment but should get better with time.
