Omez 40mg How To Work

It Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.

What Is Omez 

This Tablet is used for Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Food pipe healing, Stomach and intestinal ulcers, Bitter fluid into stomach, Abdominal distress, Nsaid-induced ulcers, Acidic stomach, Heartburn, Abdominal pain and other conditions. It tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Omez 40mg How To Take

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. This Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Pregnancy – This medicine can be used during pregnancy only if the benefits outweigh the risks.

Breast-feeding – This medicine is not recommended for breastfeeding women.

Clostridium difficile associated Diarrhea – Use of Omez 40mg Tablet or other medicines of the same class may increase the risk of gastrointestinal infections like Clostridium Difficile-associated Diarrhea.

Cutaneous and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus – Omez 40mg Tablet may be associated with lupus (systemic and cutaneous). Signs and symptoms such as extreme tiredness, painful joints, rashes and lesions on the skin after consuming omeprazole should be reported immediately to the doctor and This Tablet should be discontinued.

Impaired liver function – Use with caution if you suffer from liver impairment. A daily dose of 10 to 20 mg is sufficient.
