Bisoprolol Selectively Blocks Catecholamine Stimulation Of 1-adrenergic Receptors In The Heart And Vascular Smooth muscle. This Results In A Reduction Of Heart Rate, Cardiac Output, Systolic And Diastolic Blood Pressure, And Possibly Reflex Orthostatic Hypotension.
