6. Glyco 6 Cream How To Take

The best way to use Glyco 6 Cream or any other glycolic acid product is to ease into it slowly. Say start with a thin layer tonight. Then skip for 2 nights. Continue this for 2 weeks or so. After that use it every alternate day. If you find excessive skin peeling or skin roughness, stop use for a few days and restart. If your skin is sensitive from using other acne treatments or just sensitive, using glycolic acid in this concentration can cause a mild burning sensation. The burning fades away quickly, but if you cannot tolerate it, wash it off immediately. Exfoliating creams such as this one, or Retino A should not be applied immediately after washing your face. That can increase skin irritation and burning. Wait for 15-20 minutes for the facial skin to dry completely, then apply a thin layer. For starters, you can wash off the cream after 15 minutes if you don't feel like keeping it over night. Glycolic acid is not only useful for fading dark spots but also for preventing pimples. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin, in turn keeping the skin pores unclogged. So it can be used as a night-time acne treatment. Glycolic acid is also good for spot treatment of pimples. You will need to use a good sunscreen during daytime since glycolic acid makes skin sensitive to the sun. Without the use of a full spectrum sunscreen, any skin regenerating benefits of glycolic acid will be lost.
