How To Dorsun T Eye Drop Work?
Dorsun T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Dorzolamide (topical) and Timolol.
Dorzolamide (topical) is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and Timolol is a beta blocker. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
How To Take Dorsun T Eye Drop?
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Instruction for Dorsun T Eye Drop
Use this medicine as per the instructions on the label or the package insert. Do not instill in larger amounts than prescribed. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of any side effects. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. If you are using any other eye drops, maintain a time gap of at least 5 to 10 minutes between administering the two eye drops.

Bacterial keratitis - If the ophthalmic solution of this medicine is contaminated by bacteria, it can lead to an infection of the cornea (bacterial keratitis). Patients are advised to take all hygienic precautions to ensure that the medicine is not contaminated.
Corneal edema - This medicine should be used with caution since it increases the risk of corneal edema. Any swelling of the eye should be reported to the doctor immediately.

Contact lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes following Dorzolamide administration
Contact lenses should be removed prior to administration of this drug
Discontinue use and inform doctor if experiencing any ocular reactions
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery
Do not let the tip of the dispensing container contact the eye
If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least five minutes apart
Inform doctor if having ocular surgery or new ocular conditions while taking this drug

Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects.
If you suspect that you or anyone else who may have overdosed of Dorsun T Drops, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home. Bring a medicine box, container, or label with you to help doctors with necessary information.
