Daclahep contains Daclatasvir, a medicine used to treat chronic (lasting a long time) hepatitis C genotype 1 or genotype 3 infection in adults. Daclahep must be taken in combination with sofosbuvir, or with sofosbuvir and ribavirin. It must not be taken by itself.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

5. Side Effects of Daclahep 60mg

The most serious side effect of Daclatasvir and Sofosbuvir occurs in patients taking amiodarone. Bradycardia (slow heart rate) can occur. If you are taking these three drugs and notice any of the following, contact your doctor immediately.

  • fainting or near-fainting
  • dizziness or lightheadedness
  • not feeling well
  • weakness
  • tiredness
  • shortness of breath
  • chest pain
  • confusion
  • memory problems

Common side effects are generally only mild and temporary. You may notice headaches and tiredness, and if you are taking ribavirin anemia (low red blood cell count) and nausea.

Daclatasvir is an antiviral medicine that prevents hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. Daclatasvir is used to treat genotype 3 chronic hepatitis C in adults without cirrhosis. This medicine is given together with another drug called sofosbuvir.

Daclatasvir must be given in combination with sofosbuvir and it should not be used alone.

Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).

Store DaclaHep in its original container. Do not mix different medications together in the same container.
