Buy Ambroxol

Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent which reduces the thickness of the sputum. It is used to treat conditions with abnormal mucus secretion, allowing the patient to breathe freely and deeply. It should be used with caution in patients with a known history of gastric ulcers.

Ambroxol is a clinically proven systemically active mucolytic agent. When administered orally onset of action occurs after about 30 minutes. The breakdown of acid mucopolysaccharide fibers makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. Although sputum volume eventually decreases, its viscosity remains low for as long as treatment is maintained.

Uses of Ambroxol

Emphysema with bronchitis pneumoconiosis

This medicine is used to ease the condition of shortness of breath, persistent cough, and inflammation of the airways of the lungs by making the sputum thin and less viscous and easy to cough out.

This medicine is used in the symptomatic treatment of tracheobronchitis which is an infection causing inflammation of trachea (windpipe) and airways of the lungs. Ambroxol relieves the patient from an excessive cough and thick sputum in this condition.

Acute exacerbations of bronchitis

This medicine should be given with the appropriate antibiotic in conditions of Acute exacerbations of bronchitis since it helps in mucus secretion, which helps in improving cough, expectoration difficulties, and other symptoms.

In summary ambroxol is still investigated in both preclinical and clinical trials by research groups worldwide. Recent findings suggest relevant pharmacological and clinical effects particularly in treatment of infections with biofilm-producing pathogens and the protection from pulmonary complications after surgery or in intensive care. Further trials are needed to prove the encouraging finding in patients with lysosomal storage disorders.
